A Journey into the wild

In late July, I joined XCAP Overland on a five-day journey from Cape Town to Gaborone, helping deliver two of their specially converted Land Rovers to Botswana. Our route took us through Vanrhynsdorp, Brandvlei, Olifantshoek and Stella, covering more than 1,500 kilometres of tar and gravel roads while camping along the way.

Five days, countless kilometres, cold winter nights and some spectacular landscapes later, I arrived in Gaborone with the Land Rovers ready for their next adventure into Botswana.

About XCAP Overland:

The converted Land Rovers are designed to make remote travel comfortable without losing the spirit of adventure.
