Some of our favourite restaurants in Cape Town.
I was lucky enough to spend four nights at the One & Only hotel in Cape Town recently and during my stay I was treated to dinner at “Nobu”. What a fabulously exotic feast! It’s one of two world-class restaurants by World-class master chef Nobuyuki ‘Nobu’ Matsuhisa’s. Here his classical Japanese cuisine is given a delightful local twist, with dishes such as Sake Roast Whitefish with Jalapeno or the Chocolate Bento Box; a dark chocolate fondant with green tea ice cream and a sesame seed tuile. You can also try the Japanese beer and a selection of Sake and Shochu based cocktails in the Nobu lounge.

The Potluck Club
One of the coolest places to be is the Pot Luck Club. Located in the Old Biscuit Mill, the Potluck Club is all about sharing their delicious food and encourages guests to order for the table and for everyone to dig in to the meal. This famous restaurant is a must-visit for locals and internationals.

Setting the ambience for this restaurant is the fact that its premises are an old building that’s said to date back to the 1980s. Aubergine is an award winning fine dining spot that is known for the lightness and balance of its cuisine and the inventiveness of its flavours.

La Parada Bar de Tapas
One of the many great restaurants on the ever popular Bree Street, La Parada is a celebration of the Spanish tradition of social eating. The long communal tables allow diners to sit close together for better interaction while enjoying the authentic Andalusian tapas that this establishment serves up.
